Kombiverkehr offers alternative services during full closure in Denmark
07/14/2020
The line between the Danish towns of Ringsted and Korsør will be completely closed from 8 p.m. on 17 July to 4 a.m. on 27 July 2020. As a result, the direct trains operated by Kombiverkehr between Herne and SE-Malmö, NL-Coevorden and SE-Malmö, Lübeck-Dänischburg CTL and SE- Stockholm Norra will not run via Denmark.

However, our flexible network options allow us to continue to offer our customers the customary reliable service by rail: from 17 July to 27 July 2020, Kombiverkehr will provide a total of 28 train departures as broken services via the ferry connections to and from Lübeck-Skandinavienkai.

The direct train service offered by Kombiverkehr between Cologne and SE-Malmö is likewise unable to run during that period. As an alternative to this service, we have increased the frequency of departures between Duisburg-Ruhrort Hafen Ubf DUSS and Lübeck-Skandinavienkai with onward connection to southern Sweden by two return trips per week, giving a new total of 13 train departures in each direction every week.

If you have any questions about these connections, please contact:
